Do you think that technology is the best for teaching children in the classroom? Is there a point where there is too much technology being used? Would technology be too distracting to the learning environment?
As we're learning in 302, not every child has the same interests or the same ways of learning. I don't think we could say that technology is the best method for teaching because it would depend on the child. I do think that technology should be used so that students become familiar and comfortable with it over time. I think there is too much technology when you feel that it has become a distraction rather than a tool - that may change each day.
Although technology is an increasingly important part of our modern lives, it is important to remember that it is not everything. There are still plenty of important ideas and skills that are best learned without technology. It can, at times, be more of a distraction than a help, but it is still a valuable educational tool.
